The Teesside WW course and 4 Seasons are nationally recognized as a centre offering excellence for canoe and kayak coaching. White Water Rafting
Why not come and ride the rapids? Come white water rafting all year round on their fully customizable white water river. The fast flowing rapids will carry you down the course on an exhilarating and adrenalin fuelled trip! And, because the Tees is a tidal course we have guaranteed white water ALL year round!!
With 2 channels to choose from, your raft guide will show you the basics before turning up the heat and taking you down the steepest course in the UK. Ready for action, the course will be deeper, faster, bigger and gnarlier than ever before. Our specialist course will also boast impressive Archimedes screws. At least seven tons of water per second will be pushed through any given point on the course.
With many options to choose from below we will offer something to suit most budgets and guarantee you an experience of a lifetime.
Technical Rescue Training
All courses are internationally recognised and form the base training for many emergency services, whitewater professionals and rescue teams.
The training Rescue 3 deliver is an intensive mix of classroom and river-based sessions and there are various levels of training available – Awareness, Operations, Technician, Instructor and Management. Courses are ran on scheduled dates across the year and places can be booked on an individual basis or as contracted courses for groups of 4 or more on suitable dates
Log cabins are now also available and sleep up-to eight people. Contact the centre for more information.
The Tees Barrage International White Water Centre runs peak time water releases between 5.00pm-8.00pm on Tues – Fri and 9.00am-5.00pm on weekends. Off-Peak is outside these times. Off-Peak Releases are subject to change from day to day and will be published on the homepage in advance.
