What you can borrow:

If you are under 13 years of age you are entitled to a Child's computer ticket allowing… 

…10 children's books and 3 children's story cassette tapes

If you are aged 13 – 15 years of age (inclusive) you are entitled to a Teenager's computer ticket allowing up to 20 items in total : made up of up to 10 books (teenager's, children's or adult's non-fiction or teenager's and children's fiction books), up to 10 adult's Cassettes / CDs with parental permission and/or 3 teenager's/children's cassette story tapes. As part of your entitlement you may be able to borrow some adult's fiction books.

If you are 16 years of age or older you are entitled to an Adult's computer ticket allowing up to 20 items in total :made up of  up to10 books (adult, teenage or junior), up to 10 adult's Cassettes/CDs, up to 2 open learning packs, up to 2 language courses, up to 2 CD-ROMS, up to 5 talking books, up to 4 Junior's videos, up to 4 adult and junior DVDs, up to 2 Playstation Games and  up to 3 Junior Story Tapes.

If you are blind, partially sighted or are unable to handle the printed material you are entitled to a V.I.P.'s computer ticket allowing up to 20 items in total : made up up to10 large print books or talking books (free of charge) or a combination of both and up to 10 adult's Cassettes/CDs (free of charge).

If you run a special group – e.g. a Playgroup, or if you are a registered childminder you are entitled to a Deposit Collection ticket allowing up to 20 books for an extended loan period of 3 months.

  • You can use your ticket in any Stockton Borough Library and return items to any library.
  • You can renew items on your ticket at any library, either in person, over the telephone, or by e-mail, by quoting your library ticket number.
