Stockton and Billingham are also famed for hosting some of the counties largest and best festivals. Billingham is home to the annual Billingham International Folklore Festival - Largest festival of its kind in the UK with entertainment from all corners of the globe and runs in August each year. 

Stockton International Riverside Festival is the UK's finest street arts festival, attracting over 250,000 visitors over five days and it's all free! Alongside the SIRF is the Fringe Festival - a host of top name comedy and music.

The Soldiers - 29 January 2012 - The Forum Billingham

The Soldiers created history by being the first group of serving soldiers to hit the British pop charts. They are soldiers first and foremost, having served in Afghanistan, Iraq and Kuwait.They are real life heroes, have several medals between them and can be called up at any time.
