This is Stockton’s guide to travel and transport around the area, from bus and rail timetables to the latest flight information at Durham Tees Valley Airport (Teesside Airport).

Thornaby railway station serves the town of Thornaby-on-Tees and due to having better connections than Stockton railway station also much of Stockton-on-Tees. Stockton does have its own railway station but it does not have the same number of connections as Thornaby. Billingham railway station serves the town of Billingham, within the borough of Stockton-on-Tees and Yarm railway station serves the town of Yarm in the borough of Stockton-on-Tees and is on the North TransPennine Express Line.

Between them, Arriva North East Limited and Stagecoach on Teesside provide the majority of scheduled busservices within the Borough.

Durham Tees Valley Airport is rapidly expanding, and a number of scheduled and charter flights are operated from here, the airport is just a short journey away from Stockton.

Yarm railway station serves the town of Yarm in the borough of Stockton-on-Tees and is on the North TransPennine Express Line.
