Don't ‘Blame it on the Boogie’ if you miss out this year on Stockton’s spectacular annual fireworks display which will be set to the music of Michael Jackson in celebration of his life and music.
Preparations are already in hand to present one of the UK’s top free firework displays which kicks off at 7.30pm on Thursday, November 5, when expert pyrotechnic company, G2 Fireworks, will once again light up Stockton’s skies.
Explosions will reach more than 1,800 feet into the sky with around 32,000 explosions with more than 500 different effects.
Real Radio breakfast presenters Beck and Kelly will be down at the Riverside from 6.00pm sending out some cool sounds on a cool November night and there will be a range of food and beverages to keep out the cold.
Stockton's annual fireworks event is the biggest and brightest in the area. If you haven't managed to catch one of the annual shows yet, try and get there in 2009.
So if you're looking for something safe yet spectacular on Guy Fawkes Night leave your back garden displays to the birds and come along and be part of a big street party experience as thousands of fireworks light up the night sky over Stockton!
